Airport Fire Victims
My involvement in the tragic Airport Fire stems from a deeply personal experience – my daughters lost their home on Calle De Los Pinos Rd. in the El Cariso Village due to the Airport Fire. Now, I am honored to represent them along with their friends and neighbors who also suffered losses due to this devastating fire. Slater & Associates, APC has teamed up with Singleton Schreiber, LLP (singletonschreiber.com) in pursuing legal action against the County of Orange for starting the fire.
If you would like to join the lawsuit, don’t delay and contact us right away. Under California law, there are strict requirements and deadlines for filing a claim and a lawsuit against a governmental agency – the County of Orange. For example, a claim form must first be filed with the County of Orange within 6 months from the date of the fire and then lawsuit must be filed against the County within 6 months after the County denies the claim. If the County takes no action on the claim within 45 days of date the claim was submitted, the claim is deemed denied. Failure to comply with all the requirements and deadlines may result in the loss of your right to recover damages against the County of Orange.
